Firearm Storage Rules, Payment Policies & Liability Disclaimer
At Big Mike’s Guns and Ammo (BMGAA LLC), we provide secure and responsible firearm storage services, but it’s important to understand our policies regarding retrieval, payment, and liability.
Taking & Returning Firearms
✅ Firearms Must Be Unloaded – No loaded firearms are allowed in storage or during pick-up/drop-off. No exceptions.
✅ Business Hours Pickup & Drop-Off – Firearms can only be taken or returned during regular business hours.
✅ After-Hours Service Available ($100 Fee) – If you need access outside of business hours, a $100 service fee applies.
Failure to Pay Storage Fees
🔹 Active Military Members – If you are in the military, please inform us in advance. We will hold your firearms until you return; however, you must contact us to keep us updated on your status. A $10 monthly late fee will be added for each month of non-payment, and full payment is required before retrieval.
🔹 Non-Military Customers – We will hold your stored items for up to 12 months past the last payment.
- After 90 days of non-payment, we will conduct a non-intrusive inspection by inserting a small camera into the locker (without opening it) to assess the value of stored items.
- If, at any time, the value of the stored items is less than the unpaid balance, and we are unable to contact you, we reserve the right to sell the items to recover the owed amount.
🔹 Avoid Storage Issues – It is highly recommended that you leave alternate contact numbers for family or friends so we can verify your status if needed.
Liability Disclaimer – Storage at Your Own Risk
🔹 No Insurance Coverage – We do not have control over your firearms once stored, and they are not covered by our insurance. This means that any loss due to theft, flood, fire, or other damage is not the responsibility of Big Mike’s Guns and Ammo (BMGAA LLC).
🔹 Security Measures in Place – While your firearms will be locked in a personal locker, secured within a locked cage or room, it is highly unlikely that they would be stolen. Our store has new firearms in stock daily, making stored firearms a less likely target. Additionally, law enforcement response time to our store is only a few minutes, further enhancing security.
Agreement to Terms
By storing your firearms or other items with us, you agree to these policies and accept full responsibility for your stored property. Our goal is not to sell your items—we will make every effort to prevent that situation. However, storage fees must be paid, and communication is key to avoiding any issues.
